A One Minute Meditation

meditation.jpgMaybe learning to meditate intimidates you, and in any case it’s tough to find the time for daily meditation. The solution to both problems is an easy meditation you can learn right now, that will only take a minute to do each day.

An Easy Meditation Technique

Breathing through your mouth expands your chest, but if you breath through your nose you’ll notice how your abdomen extends. You see, nose-breathing causes the diaphram to pull air to the bottom of your lungs. This delivers a good dose of oxygen into your bloodstream and brain. It also tends to relax you.

Parapsychology: Harnessing Your Etheric Energy

imagesd.jpgIt is an unfortunate reality that society has inadvertently categorized the natural abilities associated with bio-etheric energy as a form of entertainment.

Classifying skills such as precognitive event recognition alongside amusement attractions such as stage illusion have undermined the acknowledgement of etheric energy itself, impeding the acceptance of a wide spectrum of very natural, very real capabilities.

Why, then, are etheric-related abilities seemingly so rare? The answer is multidimensional.

Easy Tools for Success - Meditation

imagessf.jpgDo you want to learn how to meditate?
Have you tried to meditate but you keep falling asleep?
Or you’re not sure you are doing it right?
Do you keep thinking about other things while you are trying to “clear your mind”?

First you need to decide what type of meditation you want to do. There are basically two types of meditation - active and passive. Passive meditation is clearing the mind of all thoughts. You can then allow your “inner voice” or “minds eye” to speak to you. Passive meditation is good for reducing stress, increasing creativity, or just getting in some quiet time.

Art Of Meditation

Meditation is a form of relaxing and a method to spiritual enlightenment that has been around for centuries. Yet with all the different types of meditation as well as the varied methods, how do you know you are truly meditating? Which one is right for you?

We are often told that to meditate is to think of nothing and clear your mind, which to me is impossible. Our minds do not stop even when we are asleep, so how do we consciously clear them when awake? The fact is that our minds are equipped with a goal serving mechanism, which means that the mind does not hear differences but only understands actions. It does not understand “do” and “do not”, “will” or “will not.” So by saying to your mind, “do not think of anything whilst meditating,” the mind did not hear the “do not” and consequently you instructed your mind to do the exact opposite of what you wanted. It will now think of everything.

Getting the Most from Them - Hypnosis Cd

images.jpgYou should treat the use of a hypnosis cd just like you use a tool. In other words, any tool has the potential to do a great job as long as it is used for its intended purpose. The message here is that a tool is only useful if it is used.

People who purchase a hypnosis cd want help in a specific area of their life. These areas might be stress management, alcoholic addiction, smoking, concentration, study, weight, insomnia and more. Often the hypnosis cd is being used to undo or reprogram a specific behaviour or habit. That behaviour or habit may have been in existence for many years.

Meditation - Body Talk

ZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

How many times have you zoned out in front of the television, only to discover an empty bag/bottle/carton of _______ (substitute your current no-no food) sitting in front of you and you have NO MEMORY of having consumed it, let alone enjoying it?

Come on, we’ve all done it.

It’s OK - well, actually, it’s not OK, but we’ll talk about that in a minute.

Mindless eating is a favorite recreational past time. It fills time and space and those emotional holes that sometimes cry out for attention.

Holosync Meditation

Chances are, if you are on a quest for self-improvement, you’ve already heard of the Holosync Meditation CD’s.

What It Is:

Developed by Bill Harris in the late 1980s, the Holosync Solution is an audio program designed to bring your brain waves to the alpha (and lower)levels automatically just by listening to the cds. According to Bill: “Holosync is a way to create deep meditation easily, precisely and consistently.”

Beyond The Hype:

I thought it was about time someone talked about what it’s REALLY like to use the Holosync cds. I’ve been using the program for 2 years fairly consistently. That means sitting down almost every day, putting on my headphones and doing nothing else for an hour. It’s a huge time commitment and there were times I wondered if it was worth it.

Unlock Your Hidden Potential - Meditate !

Meditation is often misunderstood by those who do not practice it. Very often, I hear meditation referred to as, “altered states of consciousness.” That sounds more like intoxicants, rather than bringing clarity to a cluttered mind. Without going too deep into what meditation is, or is not, let’s focus on one of the many things a daily meditation practice can do for you.

A Look at Meditation

I’ve counseled many people from every background and led workshops and lectures about self-empowering topics for about 25 years. Over that time, I saw a need. Everyone was searching. What they were looking for was unclear, many times. But the search was on. While I could meet many of their immediate needs, through counseling, they still needed a source, or connection with who they really were.

Meditation: Time to Stop & Listen

One sure way to get an answer to a question is to ask the question and listen for an answer. We’re all quite well-versed at this practice, “Have you seen my briefcase?”, “What would you like to do for dinner tonight?”, “When is that report due?”.

And what I’ve noticed for myself is that I forget this logic when it comes to listening for my own answers. Rarely do I sit quietly and listen. Rarer still do I actually intentionally *ask* myself a question.
